Remove blindness effect for elves when resting

They don't sleep, right?

Elves trance, or meditate for 4 hours. They dream during this time, so I'm not sure they're going to be aware of what's going on around them...

Omma's correct, it's 4 hours of full meditation called Reverie. In this period, elves reflect their past and present in a dream-like way. It's not easy to snap out of it, unless they finished it, and they're unaware of other things while preforming this feat.

So reverie is sorta like looking at Omma's avatar?

Sounds like a pointless distinction from 4 hours of sleep to me. Might as well have elf resting behave exactly like human resting. I guess.

There's a tiny little difference - humans need 8 hours for a good rest, or otherwise they'll harm their bodies over time. The rest an elf gains in 4 hours is equivilent to a human's 8 hour sleep.

It's not the issue, though.

So why make something COMPLETELY different on resting, while it would have no IG consequences. Elvens, Humans, and Kobolds all rest for 5 seconds or so. What value would it add, other than more scripts that make things crash?

Becuase I have always planned on making a griefing character that will await inside Zerelde's bunk area, wait for her sleeping blindness, and powergame her to death :P

This is pretty minor, and seems like it works pretty much properly already. No change.
