hi

I'm new here, HELLO!!

Welcome to the Underdark!

Hey Lee,

EFU is one of the best servers out there. It's also one of the most challenging. A very enjoyable way to get to know the server and get used to the challenging environment is by joining an established group or faction with your first character(s).

I'd recommend Clan Stoutheart as there are currently a few new characters there that are just starting out for you to hang with in game. I'm admittedly biased as I have a character in that faction, so don't hesitate to try to investigate all the other factions and groups to choose from that you can learn about in game and on the forums.

Good luck.

Check here for more info on the faction I mentioned: Clan Stoutheart - EFU's Oldest Player Run Dwarf Faction

Welcome to the Unofficial 10th Layer of Hell - The Underdark.

Welcome, and prepare to die. Also, DM's frown on animation avatar's, <.<.

Anyways, enjoy your stay, and if you ever lose an election by three votes, don't cry, it's not worth it,

Thomas_Not_very_wise Also, DM's frown on animation avatar's, <.<.

Sorry, I had no idea.

It's something to do with Forum lag I think, Just ignore me, for this might of changed!

Eh, it's no problem... already changed... LOL.... I have a friend here on this server, Please excuse any wrong behavior I exhibit. I am new to NWN.

Welcome, bloody bear person. My advice: Make a character you know how to play... oh, you're completely new. Okay, then make a fighter. Simplest class. No special powers, not weird interface. You just hit stuff.

Another piece of advice: Don't run into seventeen gnomes unless you have a lot of backup. A lot.

Just use common sense and you'll be fine. It's a friendly server, the playerbase and DM's are top notch and you'll soon find yourself immersed and lost in this wonderful world.

dragonfire9000 oh, you're completely new.

I am not completely new to D&D, I have never really gotten into the Forgotten Realms setting. I was planning on doing some research before really applying myself to this server so I don't look like a dolt.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I'm a quick study so please be patient with me.

I have seen some gameplay on this server. I was impressed enough to hunt down a copy of this game. Now I am joining this server. I have been trying to prepare myself enough with the EMOTE and other commands, so I can maximize on the acting aspects of this toolset.

Download and read this if you haven't already:

The Role-Player's Guide to Multiplayer Neverwinter Nights

It's an excellent introduction to multiplayer Neverwinter Nights.

And ask questions, in game, here and on the IRC channel. We won't bite (well, most of us anyway  )

Welcome man, yeah it's a good idea to study up before you get one, trust me, I know from the experience of being a complete moron on this server for the first two months. Don't get discouraged though, it's worth it. If you want to set sumthing up in-game for me to show you around with my character then I'd be happy to. that happens to be something I wish people had done when I just started. LOL Not trying to piss any of you guys off by the way.

Welcome!

Welcome to EfU!

I don't have as much time to play anymore as I used to, but I look forward to RPing with you IG.

Welcome to the Underdark.

Y halo thar.

G'day, hope to see you online :)

PS - Don't walk out of the gates and into the dark alone... trust me 8)

Welcome to the Underdark!

I wouldn't worry too much of not knowing the setting, just the basics work well. But it's certainly a good thing.

Hi!
