I know that DM's have a pretty standard rule about not letting people reset levels and all that jazz but....
If you just decide to delete a character, can you just remake your character, and treat it as the same person, maybe play it off like you got mugged or something along those lines? No keeping gold/gear, just keeping the same story and memories ect.
So long as you're not dramatically different (Making a druid into a sorcerer necromancer, obvious things like that).
Any input is appreciated.

Well, it depends. If you made it into the same character as before, it could be okay, if slightly pointless.
It really depends on specifics I suppose, but is generally frowned upon.

Meh, I decided I wasn't going to anyway. I mainly wanted to adjust my one or two feats so that I could qualify for a prestige class someday because of the flavor of the PC I'm referring to fits the prestige class.
So I guess it doesn't matter now anyway!
Thanks for the response though.

Well, generally speaking, remaking existing PCs into different characters (be it via feats, skills, or classes) is usually a no-go. It's often best to just make a new character in such instances!
