Marponeth the First The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearI reek of piss and shit. Someone has stolen my blanket. I am a penniless pauper, yet tomorrow is another day.
Von Asch
Marponeth the Fifth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearI have bested five men in five duels this night. Let no one question my honor.
Marponeth the Thirteenth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearA woman detonates explosives at the Tower. I engage in battle on the stairwell with the Watch against Lower dissidents, led by the criminal Guirini. The traitors are soundly defeated, several choosing to take their own lives within their cells. I have Sergeant Lothor's recommendation.
Marponeth the Twentieth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearSergeant Lothor leads a force of Watchmen and Spellguard into the Canal District, seizing the ward for the city of Sanctuary. The criminals and traitors are at their weakest with the recent loss of their ringleaders. The halfbreed Winston surrenders.
Marponeth the Twenty First The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearI come across one Deepingdale arguing with Lower sympathizers attempting to bend the ear of the Council Chairman. One citizen remarks openly that he fought with the traitors in Lower. No arrests are made.
As I leave I discover a citizen stone with the name Aurin Guirini inscribed upon it. I place it within my pocket as a keepsake.
Marponeth the Twenty Ninth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearWhile walking in Lower, a young woman stumbles into me, wailing, her arm hacked off at the shoulder. A pair of goblins and a halforc have done this to her. This is the price of her freedom.
Unable to locate my quarry, I return to the tavern to check on the woman. I do not find her. I check the rooms. One of them is spattered with blood and her personal effects. I exit the building and immediately locate my prey. Having questions I require answers to, I leave the orc alive and persue one of the goblins, killing it. When I return I find my opponent has fled. I locate the pair in the sewer, where they retreat to the goblin camp. I leave, and bide my time.
Returning to Lower, I encounter a Seeker, and lacking any other resources, I conscript him to my cause. We encounter the murderous creatures and make short work of them as they attempt to flee. The goblin was carrying a bloodsoaked sack. Within were both the womans arms. I leave Lower as the Seeker begins to preach hope to whoever will listen. I don't even know the woman's name, never having asked for it.
Uktar the First The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearI am accepted into the Watch. A wizard halfman entices four men into a portal of his own creation with the lure of a contest and a prize for the winner. It was my understanding portal magic failed in this section of the Underdark.
Uktar the Second The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearMy first arrest and case involves the murder of six citizens in the Canal Ward. One among them being a very young girl, brutally stabbed in the face.
Uktar the Fourth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearI have met my first defeat in honorable combat. I must not underestimate my opponent again. My record stands at twelve victories, one defeat.
Uktar the Sixth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearIt is not enough. I must crush my enemy beneath my heel. I must utterly destroy his ability to make war. Let no other thought cloud my mind nor turn me aside.
Uktar the Eighth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearThe Tower deals admirably with internal issues. Under different circumstances a worthy investigation, though I cannot fault them. Betrayel of family is the gravest affront.
Uktar the Tenth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearIf a mutineer was not killed immediately, we would tie him up and drag him along the keel. This form of punishment tears the offender violently while simultaneously drowning the terrified man.
Uktar the Twelfth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearThe Tower informs me on the particulars of an attempted assasination on Councilman Deepingdale. The suspect sounds quite familiar.
I soundly defeat Councilman Deepingdale and Private Sten in honorable combat. My record stands at fourteen victories, one defeat.
Uktar the Fifteenth The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearA dwarf crushed a good mans skull. He then ripped out a womans tongue. He did this for the coin of drow. I took him from a mob that the city might better know his crimes and take appropriate revenge. For this my integrity is questioned.
Uktar the 19th The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearBaby murdered in sewers.
Uktar the 22nd The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearWestmore will not persue criminals in his demesne. Like as not he would give me to the mob, should I lower my guard. The Seekers have not answered me. It is obvious now that a stronger approach is required.
Uktar the 24th The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearI've struck an accord with a monstrous horror. May the gods be merciful.
Uktar the 25th The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearWomen hunted in the Canal. Strangled to death. Lacking in manpower to properly investigate.
Uktar the 27th The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearA councilman betrays his kidnapped family. He will not part with the smallest bit of his fortune to save them. This is not a man. This is something else.
Nightal the 1st The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearWatchmen are taken and tribute demanded. Disorganized. Fatigued. Weakened.
Nightal 3rd The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearChildren burned to death in orphanage. No reason given.
Nightal the 5th The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearMacasta takes the cowards way and now I will never know. It is nearly too much.
Nightal the 7th The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearLieutenant Lothor is murdered.
Nightal the 17th The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearPrivate McDougal tortured to death in the Cage.
Nightal the 27th The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearPrivate Merrapopo is eaten alive.
Nightal 28th The One Hundredth and Fifty Second YearPrivate Smalls disappears. Presumed dead.
Hammer the 4th The One Hundredth and Fifty Third YearPrivate Sten is exiled.
