A note to the Watch and Spellguard

To whom it may concern,

Firstly, I would like to give my congratulations to you for taking over the Canal Ward rather precisely. I am curious however why Sanctuary's defensive agencies neglected to inform the Council of the date of the invasion.

I expect a full report of the day.

Councillor Jacelyn Cheval

Chairman Crowshire was actually with the assembled occupation force before it descended into the Canal Ward. It seems there is some miscommunication going on in your ranks. If you feel slighted or upset, stop by the Tower and we can discuss.

~ Agent Riesse Opalshore

Agent Opalshore,

Crowshire claims he stumbled upon your force by chance. So I will ask again, why in the nine hells was the Council not informed? This took a degree of planning and forethought.

If you had some delusioned fear that I would leak the information to Lower Sanctuary, you would do well to know that I wrote the thrice cursed proposal in the first place. If the Spellguard and Watch have decided to impose Martial Law, that's fine, but the least you could do is damn well tell us.

Cheval.

I can tell you the rest in person.

Nickless To whom it may concern,

Firstly, I would like to give my congratulations to you for taking over the Canal Ward rather precisely. I am curious however why Sanctuary's defensive agencies neglected to inform the Council of the date of the invasion.

I expect a full report of the day.

Councillor Jacelyn Cheval

Councilor,

The Sheriff of Sanctuary bestowed the responsibility upon myself to reunify the Canalward with Sanctuary and protect it from hostile threats.

To ensure the safety of my men and those of the Spellguard, the plans were communicated solely to military personel, as it should be.

No one was arrested or attacked unjustly, the citizens of the Canal welcomed our joint force into the Canal as I had anticipated. The only real opposition was from the typical Seekers and gangs residing into lower who grow uncomfortable by the approach of a Lawful force near their haven of corruption.

A few bombs were planted by these radicalists; no Watchmen were permanently injured. Those who suffered the most were, sadly, the civilians and the local structure.

I discussed an uneasy truce with the pseudo-leader of Lower's resistance, Winston and he was willing to cease hostilities under certain conditions I communicated to my superiors which shall be granted soon.
