As a group of adventurers finished trading with a merchant within the shadow tribes compound ..a stranger approached them asking if they would pass on a letter to Sergeant blackbeard in sanctuary if they were heading that way..he paid them twenty gold for the service..the figure seemed quite tired and frustrated.

:upon opening the letter it would read: :Written in Elaborate common: Sergeant Blackbeard ,

One should know of the passing of the one known as Ricco and of two others that perished at the hands of a giant in the far reaches beyond the shadow tribes compound..all were slain. One did try to subdue the giant but allmost met the same fate as the others... indeed the perils of underdark are not to be taken lightly.
