Viewing your own Description Text?

I have my descriptions jotted down in a notebook for some of my characters, but don't always take the time to write it down.

Is there a way (short of hacking the bic files) to view the description?

Yep. Attach "examine" to one of your quickslots, and use it on yourself.

This is also a pretty quick way to examine somebody from the DM client.

Brilliant!

Unfortunately there isnt a way to CHANGE the description at all short of remaking the character.

I dont think even the quite impressive 1.67 has anything to change a players description by scripting yet.

We can only hope 1.68 will let us do it..

Would it possible to Type up the text you want to see in your character and amil it to the DMs and ask them to paste it to your character description when they have time?

Actually DMs can change it, I think? It's just pretty troublesome and they won't likely do it.

Yeah they could use LETO to do it probably, or maybe even treat your character as a LOCAL character and use the local character customisation to change it.

But really that is too much hassle. You're best going with a physical description with description anyway, not posting a bio.

Maybe one day as I said above a patch will come out with a a SetDescription() command.

Then you could just have the citizen ship stone seller have a option to "change my description" then you could just type it in.. and it would thereafter be set to that.

But that functionality isnt available yet.
