Mr. Greer,
I would like to speak with you in the next day or two. I share many of your concerns about what may occur in the coming weeks. If history were to repeat itself, if Sheriff Azzam were to walk in the footsteps of Dhogur, the rift between Upper and Lower will be strained further. More good men will die needlessly, and I fear that slavers and other opportunists will be able to act with freedom they have never experienced within our walls.
Years ago, Bresley was able to stop Sheriff Dhogur and broker a fragile peace. Today, no such figure is prepared to stand against Azzam. I ask for your endorsement in the coming election to do exactly that, if the situation demands it.
I will journey to your home so that we may talk in the coming days.
Sincerely,
Dawnbringer Alistair Orsini The Last Stand, Room Four
