I must say im very impressed with this module ..the scripts that are running on it , the diversity of its questing structure , how much the factions have developed and organised , the ongoing dm interaction , the death script (no im not trying to promote my character:) , and generally speaking ...its the best ive seen ...and thats going back a few servers :thinks back to a host he wont name with a grin:.

But yeah, EFU is one of the best scripted servers I've ever seen- no wait THE best scripted server I've seen! My only complaint is that there is no server with such an ease to RP as EFU that is based on the surface :( .

I have played EFU for over a year, and I have yet to join a DM faction, but I still am impressed by the incredible diversity of the people that play this here.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and give my thumbs up to this server as well. I must admit, I have searched around for the "perfect" server and this is as close as I have gotten. Although I am a drow fan and came from a drow-based server, playing other races here is equally satisfying. I don't care if you play muds, NWN servers, or whatever else, if the DMs are no good, the server is no good IMO. I'm stranded with dial-up, so EfU has been my game that I can call home for the time being. I haven't had the chance to fully experience MMOs yet, but honestly, I could care less because EfU KICKS TOO MUCH ASS!

I love the feeling of history surrounding the place, the little things like the graffiti on the walls, Worn's stew place, the fliers scattered about, the descriptions of the fake plants etc.

Lots and lots of work has gone in to the finer details which I personally really enjoy seeing!

It's these little things that create the Awesome, and there is plenty of it about!

In all seriousness, these kinds of posts make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Yes the history in and around Sanctuary is ever evolving.. I spent about 18 months trying to delve into the many and varied 'histories' created by both the DMs and Players with a character that I made to simply explore the server. I always intended to make a 'real' RP character - later -.. but ended up being drawn into the world with my characters fault's and all.

Amazing what happens to you when you're having fun.

Yet, some of the greatest mysteries about the history of EfU, its people, places and events, I still have no definitive or conclusive idea about. I've got plenty of theories, some of which may be true. Yet trying to verify all these notions IC is an endless task. It is what draws me back in every time.

And yes, both the DMs and the Players on EfU are often incredible.

I love EfU and everything about it.

Except for DangerousDan.
