Captain Gray gets a letter

Dear Captain,

I've seen your postings regarding the company and I have to admit I'm very much interested. The 'darks have been getting more and more dangerous of late, and I'd be glad to have a job which puts me in kinship with a bunch of burly men and quick-witted women. If you'll have me, I'd be glad to sign on with your crew.

As for what I bring to the table, I am an expert with locks, both the crafting of them and the uncrafting of them. My father was a locksmith, and his father was a locksmith, and his father was actually a baker, but his father had an affair with a locksmith so it all evens out in the end. I'm also fairly handy with the crossbow and other such mechanical trinkets.

Please write to me at the Crone if you have any questions, and I will make an attempt to track you down when I can.

Until then, I remain faithfully yours, Ms. Went.
