I've been meaning to run a prelude in which a large group of NPC/PC convicted criminals are sold into slavery due to their crimes on the surface, and end up (maybe) breaking free and heading into Sanctuary. If your group is interested in adjusting the concept to this let me know and I'll run it for you.

I like Howlands Idea.

You could do that, yeah, but this idea sort of revolves around Sanctuary's criminals earning their freedom or, with luck, redemption. Still, your prelude sounds coo because you're coo.

Would be very fun to join if I can make it at that time, what was it again? Howls idea sounds good too.

If the slots aren't all taken I'd love to hop in, on any of the preludes, regardless of which it turns out to be. Sounds like two nice ideas.

I'm really glad there's still interest in this. To be honest, something I'd really like to see would be a merger of the two concepts: Perhaps the guard or soldier sent to escort the criminals to their buyers was taken as well during an ambush, and is forced to lead the unruly criminals to freedom or in order to save his own skin. If Howland would be agreeable, then I think we'd all be better off in his warm DMly embrace; Howland preludes are topnotch, so it would be silly to miss the oppourtunity if it's still open.

What's the general opinion on this? Also, rather than PMing details I'll just keep this topic updated.

At the moment, I think we're just waiting on a shout out from The Man himself for a time, date, etc., and of course whether or not he's still interested. I'm glad so many of you are eager to get your crime on.

I believe in the actual movie, the general (or whatever his title was) picked out a whole bunch of borderline criminals for his outfit. Reminds me a bit of SWAT, actually. So, perhaps what we could do, is have a powerful, upstanding member of Lower who wants the Canal Ward back come and break us out.... hmmmmm. Just speaking my mind here, nothing definite.
