Letter to Councilor Reynolt, copied to all Councilors

Councilor Reynolt, it appears an unliscensed necromancer is posting advertisements that harm the cause of both the Spellguard and your political agenda. The confusion of 'organic constructs' with the undead is ridiculous and sad ploy to confuse the public about the differences.

Of course, if the Council saw fit to require the legal registration of spellcasters, we could have this necromancer arrested. This provides us with the opprotunity to learn more about his methods, question him about any danger he may pose, as well as search his possessions for anything that will incriminate him in a higher crime.

Again, I urge you to consider allowing the Spellguard to arrest unregistered spellcasters. This is the reason this power was originally granted. Those going unregistered have something to hide, honest people have nothing to hide from the law.

Agent Hectra,

There is no evidence thus far to prove or even suggest this man has been casting without a license, unless I have missed something obvious.

Perhaps you should go to him and remind him to register with the Spellguard and determine your next course of action should he refuse, which I doubt, as this poor misled man seems intent on running for Council.

Concerning your request; I will consider it, but it's not one of my own priorities given the current circumstances of our city.

Councilor Reynolt

I agree Councilor, a man who refuses to register with the Spellguard and unethically hides his magical talents which endanger our city from the Spellguard has no right to run for Council.

I will speak with him, and thank you for your time.
