I just tried to complete the "Ice for the grotto" quest where Davino gives you ice to deliver and I can't deliver the ice to Jade. I dropped the 25 gold to get in and everything....

I second that. Jade doesn't respond properly. Very unlady-like.

If it isn't working from the next reset, I don't know how to fix it. I shamelessly stole the settings from Norma and Saram.

We just reset and unfortunately it is still broken.

I don't know if this helps, but one time when I was just speaking to an NPC in the grotto, , and my journal updated saying I had completed the Helm Supplies quest. This, coincidentally, prevented me from completing the actual quest by talking to the Helmites.

yes, it might simply be you forgot to rename a variable somewhere in the discussion or in the script.

When I got the quest today, it appeared in my journal and also the Helmite Supplies quest log.

I took Davino's Ice Delivery run a day ago.

I talked to Davino and got the ice-pack in my inventory.

I bumbled my way into the Grotto, paid the door-charge.. Found Jade...

Jade has no option when you talk to her , to take an Ice Delivery.

Is the quest still bugged? Or unfinished?

I clearly isn't working as intended! I'm at a loss as for how to fix it. :(

I suggest replacing the quest entirely.

Edit: Name one of the NPCs after me also.

I think the problem is with Jade not having the right talkie option in her conversation log; or she does not recognise that the PC she is talking to has the ice-pack in their inventory.

Perhaps - if the quest was cut and pasted from another area of the mod.. just remove it and rewrite it? Most of the errand quests are straightforward to script, aren't they?

[Takes me about 2 hours to script any kind of errand on the Toolset - :P Sorry I cannot help ya.]

Well, just remember to tell us here when its fixed. I just found this quest IG, and ran into this same 'Jade doesn't notice/care' issue. 8)

Yeah, ran this last evening, and she still doesn't have a convo option to finish off the quest. It's been a few weeks so I figured I would bump in case you forgot :)
