[Letter to Officer Barkley]((DM))

*A letter is sent to officer Barkley. Inside the wax sealed envelope, a fresh batch of candied mushrooms is enclosed in some papers.*

Officer Barkley, It is with this letter that I hope to change your mind, on not inducting me in the order todark. Firstly, I understand fully that I am being very pesty, and for that I apologize. It is part of my charm, I suppose. I really wish to be in the order, more so than anything I have ever felt. What I know that I can do for the Spellguard, fills me with absolute joy. I understand fully, the bounds of what my induction would be in. They would be experimental, and I would likely be treated with a large amount of resistance, and some negativity. I am willing to accept this, to achieve my goal.

I understand that Agents do not cry, and I understand that I messed up in that matter, by showing emotion. I wish to assure you, that no emotion will be showed, in my induction. I guarantee that I will never cry, smile, or laugh, if that is your wish. This is how devoted to the job I will be.

Sir, surly if I have the recommendations from agents, there are some redeeming qualities to me. Things that I can do, that perhaps no one else can. I suspect this is why you appointed me as an attaché. I suspect you know what sorts of persuasion I am capable of, and have heard of the things I have done, to get the recommendations of your agents.

I understand, I believe why you do not wish to hire me as well. I feel, you think I will let my emotions get in the way. If these are your thoughts, I would like you to know, they are erroneous. I can operate functionally, with or without my emotions. If it is your wish, again… I will become like a rock, and have no emotion. I know this was a large issue to you.

I apologize if I seemed weak, at the tower, on that dark sir. But I am not. I am strong, and I will ensure an investment in me, is an investment in the brighter future of the Citizens Sanctuary Spellguard.

*Signed with a flourish*
