I hope you've been well. We should talk sometime soon, many things have changed as you well know.

Who has authority of the lift between New Dunwarren and the backalleys? I would be very much in your debt if you could ask around about it. With the creation of Madame Breena's hospital, Lower could benefit from having a direct lift into Upper for hospital use only. It's hard to get a man with a broken leg up the steps!

The lift was locked down because of the lack of protective wards on it allowed a group of Lowersmen to invade and slay many of our community.

Additionally, the key to it has been lost and despite several calls for locksmiths, none have come forward to assist in granting myself a new key to a new lock.

Moreover, there is still the security risk it poses if we activate the lift even if we had a key.

I will, however, see if I can again procure a locksmith and perhaps even a cleric to make this lift operational again in a safe way.

I envision the lift as going through the roofing of a smaller clinic immediately below the hospital in Upper Sanctuary. This lift might even help move patients between different floors of the hospital in Upper. We'll need to test this possibility first to see if this will even be possible!

If it is, security will be an enormous detail. Think about this, and I'll see if I can't find a few really, really long ropes to test my wild little idea.

The lift currently only descends into the South Alleyways as it is a direct drop vertically into that area.

Where was this clinic going to be specifically?

The clinic will be in the old Chapterhouse of the Society. By my estimation, we'd have to dig out part of the side of the chasm.
