[Toman Vashan, Seeker Shrine]

Friend,

Your words have left me curious. Despite the unjust murder of an innocent man you once called friend, you have decided to betray those who seek a better life - a life free from the shackles the Spelltyrants and Watchers have imposed upon the people - and claim that the just violence perpetrated is somehow unethical. If Upper were ruled by a more obvious evil - Banites, perhaps - but their practices remained the same, would you cower thusly behind objections?

When I was a younger man, Sheriff Walters sold me back to Traensyr. How dare you presume to tell me that his equally tyrannical descendants deserve nothing short of death?

I challenge you to present me with proof of dishonesty or injustice. Should you cultivate a spine in the coming days and wish to reply, you know where I roost.

Mister Guerini

Guerini,

I have never said anything of the sort, nor did I call you a liar or anything. I simply gave a warning that Lysik's death was no excuse to spread lies and deceit and incite random violence. Simple as that. I did not claim that any violence was somehow unethical. I did not claim that Lysik's death wasn't an injustice. It was a monstrous murder.

If a Spellguard or Watchmen strike, then it is every man's right to defend himself, as you know it. Simple murder, however, is that, MURDER. Nothing else.

You assumed that I was attacking you and yours. You were wrong. I will never say that the Watchman and Spelltyrants are right, nor did I ever. I simply gave a warning, and made my objection known. Does that make me a betrayer? I do not believe I have betrayed anyone.

Read my words my carefully. Call me a coward if you so wish. It won't change my view in the slightest.

Guerini,

I was wrong. You were right. We should talk, whenever you are available and/or feel like it.

--- Toman

Friend,

That's what I like to hear. We'll parley in the Pisser when I get around to it.

Mister Guerini
