My name is Vincent, faithful to The Giver. I have spoken with agent blake on this matter already, but I wish to extend my request to the rest of your noble order.

I have always been facinated by the difference between those who gain the gift of magic through prayer, and those who gain the gift through study. No doubt for each to gain their gifts, it takes years of effort and determination. For both such paths, faith in yourself is certainly required.

While we may gain our gifts of magic in different ways, in the end it all returns to the same source of our power - Mystra. So I put forth to you, noble members of the Spellguard, Is there really any difference between a faithful and a mage? Both paths are rewarded for their hard work and determination, the path itself is merely different.

I would conclude this letter by requesting that I might Join your order. I have heard I will need recommendations from the Agents, so I would request a meeting with any who may have time. I may be found at the last stand, if any of your noble order would wish to meet.
