*Letter to the School of War PC's/DM's*

Keepers of the Arena and School,

Amid some confusing circumstances, a member of yours, Watchman Lerzon, has asked me to inform you that the the watch now has in possession all the School's items that Watchman Lerzon was keeping for the school.

To what end this means, I have no idea, but I assume your items can be reclaimed from the Watch. Please, let me know if you need any assistance.

I can be reached at the Temple in New Dunwarren or at the Last stand in the Old City.

Drin,

Thank you for your letter. I will look into retreiving these items as soon as possible.

I am more concerned as why Lerzon felt he had to have the message passed on, rather than just coming to the School and telling us himself. Can you tell me why?

Lyra Lockheart Temp. Headmistress, School of War

Lyra,

I wish I had more detail, but I will tell you what I know. I happened to be at the watch house inquiring about something entirely not related to Lerzon when he was leaving, escorted by several other Watchmen.

Upon asking why he was being forced to go to lower, I was told he was sentenced to death. He was ordered to spy on the necromancer in full Watch apparel.

Parkus Swift, another watchman, and one with a vile aura about him, followed and watched Lerzon as he sat in the Crone and waited. Several, equally vile persons entered and asked to speak with Lerzon in private about his exile.

Lerzon never emerged from the Crone again.

If you have further questions, please contact me in New Dunwarren.

Drin

I am afraid that Lerzon has lost his life. but I thank you for your information.

We have had the School property returned to us.

Lyra

Lyra,

That is tragic, though if the watch claims of his murder are true, then I suppose he met a fate befitting to him.

I traveled with him several times and never sensed any corruption on his aura, though I suppose these depths can change a person in unseen ways.

I know little of the human gods, but I know a bit about Tempus and I hope that, if his heart still was true, that he was able to meet his fate on his feet with a weapon in his hand.

I am glad to hear the watch relinquished the schools belongings.

Yours in training and defense,

Drin Shieldarm of Arvoreen Warden of the New Dunwarren Greycloaks

Drin

Lerzon was pure of heart and was a good man through and through - more so than many more of the other men who reside in Sanctuary.

The murder was highly unfortunate and I strongly believe that Lerzon has his reasons for doing it. I, myslef, strongly belive that murder is wrong and maybe that the punishment recived on Lerzon was neccessary, though unfair.

He was new to the Tempus faith, but I assure you he lived it through to his last breath.

I thank you once more, Drin, your words are kind.

Lyra.
