A sealed letter is sent to the Spellguard Tower, marked for Agent Riesse Opalshore. Of note is the extremely masculine character of the correspondence - the script is firm and lucid, the writing professional and terse. One thing is clear - whoever wrote the letter took the greatest amount of care into making it seem like the work of a man.
REPORT ON THE MATTER OF DIVARIUMAgent Opalshore,
I have done as you asked, and arranged a meeting with your contact. A few interesting pieces of information were revealed:
The cheapest a Divarium Crystal will cost is the sum of ten thousand gold coins. It will be enough for a crystal about 'one quarter of an inch in diameter' by our contact's admission. According to him, it is 'well worth its price - every last coin of it'.
More expensive crystals can be acquired for prices ranging up to one hundred thousand coins - nothing above that was mentioned, but they are either incapable of producing a whole crystal to match that price, or it will have to be arranged with special provisions.
The contact will expect my word shortly, by letter, on any orders I may wish to take. Due to the nature of our contact, any business will have to be conducted with necessary precautions. Nevertheless, he awaits word by writing of any orders on Divarium Crystals which you may be willing to fill.
Last, but not least, a very interesting piece of information - the contact let it slip that I was not the first person to come looking for Divarium in the past few days. Only two days ago, a 'crazy gnome' came into his shop 'demanding his Divarium' even though he 'didn't even come close to amount of coin he'd need for it'. Further investigation into this particular aspect of the matter is already one of my priorities.
With nothing further,
Iedrik Kinrayse
