In my opinion, what there is now, is bollocks.
A wand of cure moderate - Very very useful Spell, as it tends to stop you from dieing, Costs 306 gold to craft. A pittance. yet other spells, such as silence, while still admittedly very useful, (they're all spells, of course they are useful!) Costs around 1500.
And oh wait - Wands of cure serious wounds, a fourth circle spell, much more powerful than those of third circle, less than 600 gold. I mean come on. A spell circle higher and still less than half the price, almsot 3x less? This is majorly unbalanced.
I don't think a 5x price hike is justified for some spells. If anyone, heal should be -more- exspensive, as that is what everyone buys. it goes along In my view, with Kotenku's post about spells. It leaves almost no chance for branching out, since Healing wands are almost the only thing that is practical to make. Other spells are just so exspensive, why bother making them? I mean, the people that would, might have problems enough as it is making that kind of money just so they can make a wand for RP flavour, something that would suit their character more.
In my eyes this system is nothing but limiting, and the price differences are too unfair for those who are -not- making a healer. I think that a 5x more exspensive wand is not right. Instead of 1500, I think it would be reasonable at 700-1000, It's still more exspensive, but its not completely rediculous like it is now.
Please, make wands other than the standard buffs, less exspensive and therefore practical for us to make, since not every character wants to make wands of those spells. Please, Please remove this limiting factor.
