Letter to Felicia Leadlum - School of War

Goodwoman,

I have seen your notes, plastered as they are about the Lower wards, and I write to you on this topic.

You have visited me twice, true. The first time my own duties within the Crone took me away from answering your challenge. The second time you fled from mere words, rather then staying for the challenge you had thrown down.

Now you dare to brand me a coward publically?

Mark my words, peck. When next we meet, it will go far, far worse on you for your mockery. If you want to avoid more ill treatment at my hands then you have already earned, I suggest you take down your libellous posters, and issue me a public apology forthwith. After this, the invitation I have previously extended to you to return to the Crone will once again be yours, and we can settle the matter as it should have been settled in the first place. I am not some Upper coward who will allow himself to be dishonored in this manner, and my honor demands satisfaction.

I strongly urge you to handle this matter in a manner that will not end with grievous bodily harm on your part. If it is to be a contest, let us treat it as a contest. If it is personal, then it will no longer be sport.
