I wish to inquire as to the necessity of giving ambassador status and the run of a fine estate in Old Sanctuary to a tribe of kobolds. There is record that a dragon of some sort defended Sanctuary when drow advanced upon the lower gates.

Is it true that an alliance with these kobolds provides the benefit of protection from this dragon? If so, would not the invasion and occupation of our neighbors in Lower not qualify?

Please do not inform me that we will have nothing to do with Lower, when hundreds of monsters are now at our very doorstep.

Upon the matter of the Shelter, work has begun though it is not yet livable to the point that we have been able to move out of our previous lodgings. We hope to have that matter corrected soon, and open the Shelter soon.
