Hey everyone, I'm very excited to start playing on this server but I'm having an issue with my cleric. He is human, Lawful neutral and has War and Trickery domains. Is there no deity that supports these domains or am I doing something wrong?.. It seems no matter what deity I choose I get the same message about deity does not match character domains/class. Can someone please help me out. I've been searching the deity thread with no luck and scanned through the new player announcements. Thanks a lot.

I'm not 100% sure about a deity having both of those domains but Faiths of Faerun will help you out in that search. I would also recommend picking a deity that fits your character and then choosing domains that the deity supports. It may be more fruitful and rewarding in the long run.

Rather than finding a deity to suit your needs, I'll leave you with this:

Don't pick your character's domains and then try to find a deity that fits it. Instead, pick out your character's deity, based on what you're ready to RP preaching and whatnot, and then choose the domains you like best from that deity's available pool.

I'm pretty sure there's no deity with both domains, from the Minor/Major deities. There could be in the racial pantheon, I dunno!

The Faiths of Faerun section of this forum lists all the deities, and each entry includes acceptable cleric alignments and domain combinations.

I haven't looked through them recently, but I don't think any deities support both War and Trickery.

If you're set on playing a cleric, you should also read the thread on divine class duties, which should help give you an idea of what we expect from casters whose power relies on their patron deity.
