Had my first death on the server today (it didn't take me long) and the client crashed at the "Loading Fugue Plane" screen. Successive login attempts with that character resulted in further crashes at the same point during loading. This state persisted after a reboot. I killed off another character at a different place and the same behavior occurred.

Obviously this isn't happening to everybody or it would be a massive and critical bug. It's probably related to the fact that I'm playing on a mac. I'm not sure if the issue is solvable or what but any help or pointing in the right direction would be appreciated. I'm off now to check the behavior against other Fugue Plane servers to see if it is related to that in general.

I actually play on a mac as well, and have no issues. I'd recommend turning off some of the more advanced graphical options and testing to see if you still crash.

I've turned off all the advanced options, tried it in both fullscreen and windowed mode and I still get a crash every time. Blech.

I just confirmed that I don't have this issue at CoA, which is one of the other major servers I know that uses a Fugue Plane.

Have you got any haks or overrides installed? I believe that might cause issues displaying these symptoms.

No haks and no overrides. It's a straight up install of NWN (though admittedly I used OpenKnight's NWNUpdater to install SoU and HotU from my windows disks) without any changes to it.

I may give reinstalling everything a go anyway.
