Currently a feature of biowares henchman system, it is possible to give your animal companions, and familiars, potions.

I am wondering what the dm stance however is, On Summoned creatures, and Dominated creatures, being given potions this way. Is this fine, or should this be considerd more of a flaw in their system, and be left alone?

Rock your socks off sir. It's fine to do this as generally animal companions are woefully underpowered.

My question was if it was considered abuse of this sytem to use it for Summons and Creatures dominated with animal empathy.

Example - Feeding a dominated cave prowler a potion of speed.

I think it's absolutely fine, myself.
