I too am angered by the events that have befallen Mycopolis. I lost a fellow hinswoman to whatever occurred in that ward. In regards to your thoughts on illithid control of the goblin, I have a few alternatives that I wish to discuss with you as far as cause and source of these events.

I will speak with my fellow Greycloaks and see what assistance we can offer.

I'll be making myself available as much as I can today. If you've time in your day, watch the border of Lower for me. I'm trying to keep one eye on the streets, another on the goblins, and another behind me today. Something about this smells more foul than just a goblin invasion, for reasons seen and unseen.

Apparently, there's a drow moving about down in the Lowers and within the company of the man known as the Scholar. Both were active participants in the post-calamity investigations. I hardly dare to wonder what interest they have in this madness.
