Council Announcement: Civil Court

Councilor William Donrick announces the following over the Sending System, on the 21st Eleint, Year 152.

Past Councils were bound by law, only to serve the people in strictly criminal matters. However, the current Council have chosen to expand their duties to include other, non-criminal matters. The following Civil Court proposal recieved a unanimous Yea vote, and was passed:

Civil court Two citizens, representing themselves or opposing groups, willingly submit to the ruling of the court in the matter brought before the judge, a volunteering councilor.

Each party, independently, explains their position, including why they seek help from the court and what their desired outcome is. They are then allowed with the judge one private statement each after hearing the others' position.

The court's ruling, lacking the support of three councilors, may not alter the code of law or change the title of deeds.

Parties submitting to a court willingly that do not abide by the court's ruling shall face capital punishment.
