Left for The Scholar left outside Thomas'

Aleczumberzeil te Esoterotept,

Make no mistake, I intend to kill you. I have every intention of laying you to waste with my own blade, as befits a weapon blessed by the Light of the Morninglord. However, I have no intent to allow the first time we correspond to be when I stand above your beaten, defeated form, so called "Scholar".

I am the Knight Sir Leonard Merrickson, and I am a Warrior in service to the Gods of Good, who uphold the ideals which you blaspheme. In your knowledge of the City, you may have garnered that I am both a Councilor of the City, as well as the Caretaker of the Dead. Fitting, isn't it, then, that I should end your perverted rituals upon them.

Do not think this an overly arrogant letter in which I shall flaunt my Knightly virtues, or whereby I am attempting to earn my way into the songs of tomorrow. This letter serves as a formal notice that I shall henceforth be personally seeking your head. In my past days, I was less honorable than I am, at present, and I allowed myself to be convinced to set upon men who were unaware of my coming. No more, to be certain. Though a bounty is considerable enough warning, and you are more than aware there is one, I have no desire to hunt a man who will not know his killer.

Consider this our introduction. Well met.

Until one of us passes,

Sir Leonard Merrickson Sworn Knight to Lord Karistan Berensen Caretaker of the Sanctuary Mausoleum, and Councilor of the Sovereign City of Sanctuary

Sir Leonard Merrickson Sworn Knight to Lord Karistan Berensen Caretaker of the Sanctuary Mausoleum, and Councilor of the Sovereign City of Sanctuary

Greetings to you sir.

I am trembling in my boots.

Find me at your leisure.
