Those two potions STACK despite having different descriptions.
Don't believe me? Get 1 UDHP and 1 GD and drag one to the other. Now you will either have 2 UDHP or 2 GD. This can be annoying because, if you have GDs and finish a quest that gives out 8 UDHPs at the end, you might very well end up with a stack of ONLY GDs and have to explain to your party that the UDHPs you were just given magically turned into GDs.

Jasede's right, they do stack. Same tags, possibly.

It's good if they stack. I don't want million different cure moderate potions into my bag, because then I can't quickslot them all. That's the reason they stack anyway, I think?

Honestly, I wish they would all stack if they have the same effects. Including crafted potions. The ever-important invisibility potion is the worst about this! Underdark Invis. Potion, Invis Potion (looted), Invis Potion (crafted), Duergar Invis Potion, Kobold Hide Potion... there are TONS of different kinds and none of them stack.
Sorry, this should be under suggestion. But whatevah, I do wha' I want!

They don't. The crafted potions have a caster level of 3, whereas Underdark Healing Potions and Gypsy Drinks have 6.

It's not worth putting any time or effort into fixing. I'm pretty sure nobody cares what healing potions they get as long as they get them.

It's supposed to be a feature, not a bug! >_>
Although I could just rename the Gypsy Drink back to its generic Underdark Healing Potion name.

Can the character really define which one is what?
I always played like *he sees a black liquid in a jug*.
The character only sees some black liquid in a bottle similar to the gypsy one.
To game mechanics it's only important if they have the same "power", I mean do they work exactly? Heal the same amount of HP? then it is a feature =)
The character just tag the "gypsy" one because he bought it.
