Is this really a huge "don't do it" issue or is more of a "you can do it if you really insist but then don't expect DMs to spend much time with you" issue? I ALWAYS feel tempted to reroll because the Underdark is dangerous enough, and I won't lie, I have done so in the past, uh, accidentally. Heh, everyone I asked has. By accident of course; don't get riled up.

I'd like to suggest a response to this to be added to Snoteye's cool FAQ because I ask myself this all the time.

Edit: I am pretty sure the answer to this is "don't reroll. ever" but I would still like to hear it from DMs so I can link people to this when they complain why my level 6 fighter only has 33 hit points with his 10 CON.

Don't do it. Just don't. You don't need to. It isn't fair to the rest of the playerbase, and it's totally unnecessary. Just play a little bit smarter with staying healed up at 100%.

Howland should have included the word 'cheating', in his post. If you re-roll HP, you are a cheater, and will be treated accordingly.

Could you please consider adding this to server rules? A cursory glance did not enable me to spot this! It would help others who come to this server, so they don't accidentally do it from being used to it by playing offline, for example.
