Plus one AB and Damage for elves when using a longsword, please. They're supposed to be better with these than anyone else.

As is it, the Elf warrior is seldom played, most likely because of that horrible Con penalty, and I think this would make them a lot more survivable/attractive.

I vote no, this gives them +1 ab to break through enchantments and if you don't like the con penalty take less dex for more con. Elves already get the weapon proficiency for free.

My first and possibly best character was an Elf Fighter with a Longsword. I don't think your suggestion has any merit at all. The Elf proficiencies represent that training in those weapons, and it doesn't mean they're "better".

IIRC any elf can use a longsword, including wizards and clerics. This -is- their bonus.
