Estimate sent to Darkul Ironbeard and The Merchant Fireheart

Dear Sir.

Regarding our discussion, the proposed works will consist of -

Materials-

twenty ton of good stone, large enough to seal the entrances.

Two to three ton of Zurkwood.

Four league of strong rope, pulleys, chocks and shackles.

Twenty ton of boulders for counter weights.[if required] [Locks and defences are additional and can be discussed during further talks] Tools-

Shovels, picks, hammers large and small, chisels, wheel barrows, brooms.

[Explosives. For cave ins, if needed or required]

Labour-

Ten good dwarves should suffice, four stone mason, two carpenters and four strong backs to assist. working on eight hour shifts also pack rothe and cart to haul materials to said location, perhaps a small portable crane system could be set up to load and unload the materials more quickly.

If unhindered the time span could be one month at the very latest.

Of course, if the lower mine was wanting to be secured in the same way, it would possibly take up only one fifth of the materials, labour and time needed.

Do not hesitate to contact me for further questions that may pop up.

Signed

Orgrim Warmountain.

Fireheart and myself have discussed this project extensively.

Holding the lower part of the mines seems like a better location for several reasons. It is cheaper, is less infested, and will give us a closer location to the waterfront.

Fireheart, myself, and others will begin mining in dunwarren for necessary materials. We will leave construction materials at the entrance. You and any labor hired are free to access our mines there at your convenience for this project.

I can put up the coins as soon as you get me specific amounts and dates for the construction and Fireheart agrees, and my clan approves the project (which I'm sure it will).

We'll arrange security at necessary times.

Keep us posted on any developments or issues.
