My favorite single player NwN module

http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=3627

I can't recommend this highly enough. I'd make everyone play it by law if i could. It smokes the official campaign (maybe not SOU, but certainly the first one), and it should teach a few people how to be a good rogue, because it is hard-hard-hard.

Played it and enjoyed it

heX coda .01 is also a good one

AMEN! I love this module.

Hell, i'd love the play it but i just hate single player NWN.

I'll grab it, but I don't know when I'll get the chance to play it... all my NWN time's now spent at EfU

Played it, loved it. Only problem is it took way too long to save and load on my old comp, so I'll give it another go on my new one. Thanks for the reminder!

Just started playing it again the other day with a character I've been playing intermittently on EFU. It's great but single-player is still missing something for me.

Thanks for the recommendation. Will be checking this out ASAP.

Nuke cat? Did you start as a 1st level...or above that?

Does this require downloading the accompanying CEP, or can this run with downloading the module only?

Garem, the HAK would be required to play it. Back in the old days before the CEP HAKs were used ;)

Basically, the HAK is all the non-NWN stuff that was used (ie: creature models and such). The module is "instructed" in a sense, to use the hak. Therefore, without the HAK, the module will not load due to the missing HAK.

I haven't played Honor Among Thieves yet (thought I've started it with my character from The Cave of Songs, by the same author), but I'm sure it will be great. Cave of Songs was good, too.

Everyone should play The Prophet series, also by the same author, Baldecaran. It's not a your-free-to-roam-around module, but the story is so compelling that it doesn't matter. In my opinion, definitely the best single-player module. A LOT better than then official campaign (which was crap, by the way), and also better than SoU. HotU is so much different, with the epic stuff and all, that's they're not really comparable.

The Prophet series is so good, that you should give it a shot even if you don't play single-player. Excellent story, and good role-playing opportunities.

I've started it - and am having an annoying issue which I can't imagine how I could fix.

Whenever I need to follow somebody around in the main outdoor areas of Endorr, there is terrible lag, causing the script that tells the people I need to follow to move to take minutes at a time between one point and another. Very annoying.

Am I the only one nerdish enough to point out the wrongness of naming the city "Endorr"?

Elaborate?

Nickoteen Am I the only one nerdish enough to point out the wrongness of naming the city "Endorr"?

Only if there was a neutral ranger named Han, A troubled paladin named Luke, and a Half-orc named chewy, then I suppose.

Oh, that's Endorr! A'right!

But I loved this module, it rocks. Though it gets awkward briefly, it quickly sky-rockets again. There's so freaking much to do, that it has a great replayabiltity as well. Plenty of choices that will affect the outcome of the game as well. I recommend this game to everyone.
