The subject title says it all. Why? Because some of our characters know how to read and write, despite being disallowed from Upper. As far as I've heard, the scribe in Upper is largely OOC, as well.

I need an OOC way to put written things in the inventories of my goblins, kobolds, etc. ^_^;;
