Red Skull quest

To easy

To much reward. (Gold wise, I mean, come on, The ghosties dropping 5-50 gold at times!)

Not all times, depends upon the group, all quests is easy depending on the group. Sometimes it isn't easy.

If you go in with paladins and clerics it can be easy but try a group with out them and see how hard it gets, personally it's now one of my favorite quests on the server.

Yea, but I did it with two fighters (I being one of them) and we still railed through.

I wouldn't judge the quest as being too easy because you did it once with two fighters and it was easy.

With other group combinations it can be quite tough, and has lead to character deaths when I have done it.

As with many quests, several factors come into play.

Beefiness of your frontline, how looted out they are, their consumable supply, weither they were buffed, the types of weapons they use.

I did this quest with a five man group where only two people were able to hurt the enemies(And at most, were doing around 5-10 damage a hit)

Long quest.

Also, quests scale up and down with party size, and level of players. Making it quite possible you get the 'super easy kid mode' spawns, for only two people.

Every quest on EFU is too easy with a great party. It's sort of the point, however, I think the balance of this one is fine as it is at the moment.

The quest is awesome. I've seen multiple characters die on this quest, two of these deaths being in a party with five characters including a cleric and multiple warrior classes. It is quite challenging for melee rogues, and not a cake-walk for low CON warriors, either.

As far as being able to cheat a party for a quest, I think Hoaran is more susceptible to this. The rooms full of zombies are easy to destroy with a lvl 4 cleric's turn ability.

I don't think taking a cleric into a known undead area, and turning a room full of zombies would quite qualify as cheating.

Cheating wasn't the right word, I admit. But it is still true that the Hoaran temple, which otherwise is very challenging, becomes a lot less so with a skilled cleric in the group. This is how it should be on undead quests.

Speaking of which, I watched a party get slaughtered on this quest today, and have seen some trouble with it.

As with any undead quest, clerics (and wizards with the right spells) are dominant.

I concede.

I did this quest for the first time today and its only easy if you metagame what's coming. I took a group in there today with only going on just the information the Seeker questgiver gave about it and we got owned. (in reference to NC's post above).

This quest is fine as it is and serves to honor some of the folks who made that faction interesting.

Though there is one PC enemy in there that I don't understand WHY they are there - they were a turncoat to the group!

If they died with the rest, as a turncoat or loyal, I'm sure they'd be just as dead and pissed off as the rest of the Red Skull crew.
