Agent Elia Vendrask, Spellguard Villain

So... she's dead! Well, undead. I had an amazing amount of fun playing her, and she was also a milestone for me, as my first L8! So, let's peruse a few moments of her life...

She made friends quite quickly, after being inducted as an Agent.

She even showed that she had a heart! Briefly.

However, she also made numerous enemies! They all seemed to trip over and bash their heads during the tour she gave of the Quarantine Cell.

Her superiors appreciated her valiant efforts...

But that's not to say that she didn't get into a few spots of bother!

And some questionable activities, sometimes with some questionable people...

She even kept up the villainy after her death!

Took up new residency...

And made a new group of friends!

Terrible, terrible character.

Good one!

Sung to a familiar, merry tune...

"Ding Dong! The Witch is dead. Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch! Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead. Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed. Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead. She's gone where the goblins go, Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out. Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low. Let them know The Wicked Witch is dead!"

She's dead! [Runs off to celebrate.]

Well played. 8)

Fun times.

Jaden Sarkish: How'd you get in here? Elia Vendrask: With a key. Ariwyn Hawke: You used the wrong rod option. Jaden Sarkish: Where's my Spellguard key, then, eh? Elia Vendrask: Why would you -ever- need to go into the Tower? Jaden Sarkish: Same reason yer in here. Elia Vendrask: What? When will you be arresting to the Tower? Elia Vendrask: We need to access the cell block, so our Field Agents get keys. Jaden Sarkish: Yeah, well we'll see 'bout that. Elia Vendrask: You'll never need to access anything in our Tower, so... Cell Guard: Jus' stay outta my bunk. Leonard Merrickson: [Stands firmly in front of the cell] What can be done for you, Agent? Ariwyn Hawke: Well, seems the little pet is shaping up to be a fine upstanding member of society. *smirks with a condecendance towards the goblin* Elia Vendrask: [She chuckles dryly into the helm.] If you say so, Sarkish. Jaden Sarkish: That's batsqueeze. Yer agent's been keepin' squiddykin in there. Ya prob'ly still got 'em. Elia Vendrask: Well, for a start, why is there a monster in the cell? Izzyrick Greens: Izzy not monster! Izzy is... Iz- oh- I! Izzyrick Greens: I is not monster! I is I! Jaden Sarkish: Get out, Spellguard. This is none ah yer business. Elia Vendrask: [She looks dully back to Jaden for a moment, her eyes glinting, before she returns her gaze to Merrickson.] Ariwyn Hawke: *looks at Leonard, seemingly amused* Seems you've got some work cut out for you. Leonard Merrickson: We're awaiting a Councilor, at present. Elia Vendrask: Ah. Why is that? Jaden Sarkish: I said -get out-. Elia Vendrask: [She crosses her arms casually, drumming her fingers on her sleeve.] A guest pass for the goblin? Leonard Merrickson: Quite. Jaden Sarkish: You gonna submit to arrest or do I gotta beat ya down, Agent? Leonard Merrickson: Jaden, calm yourself. Cell Guard: Whoa, Private. Stand down, the Sheriff made an agreement with the Spellguard. Elia Vendrask: Don't be an idiot, Sarkish. Rodon Brinson: This is how one gets a Councilor. Cell Guard: Councilor on deck! [Stands at attention] Cell Guard: Councilor Wyric Crowshire on deck! [He salutes] Leonard Merrickson: Councilor Crowshire, hello. Wyric Crowshire: What would be the matter? Jaden Sarkish: This is none of her business. I'm tellin' 'er ta get out. She's not even s'posed ta have a blinkin' key. Jaden Sarkish: This has got nothin' ta do with spell tyrants. Elia Vendrask: How do you know that, Sarkish? Lieutenant Reynolds, who, unless I am mistaken, outranks you, gave me a key. Elia Vendrask: Now put your weapons away. Wyric Crowshire: This is true, the Spellguard should not have a key to my knowledge unless arrangement with the sheriff has changed. Jaden Sarkish: Ya shoulda jus' asked Best f'r his. Rodon Brinson: Pardon me Councilor, it seems we have two important matters here. Elia Vendrask: Councillor, I was -given- a key by the -Watch-. Elia Vendrask: To do my job. Jaden Sarkish: Yeah? We'll see 'bout that. Wyric Crowshire: I am sure it was given before the seperation. Elia Vendrask: You're a joke. Elia Vendrask: It was given to me yesterday. Cell Guard: Sir I believe this is correct. Before the Spellguard secession I recall Agents were given keys and allowed access to the prison cells. Wyric Crowshire: Now... now. Let us be civil. Elia Vendrask: If there is some problem, take it to Lieutenant Reynolds. Jaden Sarkish: I'll take it ta the Sheriff, is who I'll take it to. Rodon Brinson: We will, we will... now, could we get on the matter I brought the Councilor for? Leonard Merrickson: The matter remains, Agents are allowed access to files, and reports. I do not believe the Watch is required to allow them their presence wherever they wish it. Wyric Crowshire: If Sheriff has seen it to be fit, I really have no interest in the matter. Elia Vendrask: We are allowed access to the cell block. It's not down to the Privates to deny us access. Elia Vendrask: Over -trivial- matters. Jaden Sarkish: That key opens everythin' we got. Includin' our lockers an' our files. [through clenched teeth] Elia Vendrask: I don't intend to steal your reports or your underwear, Sarkish, so I wouldn't worry about that. Wyric Crowshire: Please calm down, it is matter that can easily be sorted out. It is matter of sheriff's ruling in watch policy. Jaden Sarkish: [looks to Wyric and nods] Leonard Merrickson: [Speaks calmly] As the Councilor said, I am sure we can reach an amiable end. What inquiries do you have, Agent? Perhaps we can answer them and get you moving along your way. Wyric Crowshire: Spellguard can decide if they give watch the keys to their tower, and watch can decide their own keys. Elia Vendrask: No enquiries at all, Merrickson. I simply wish to view the proceedings. Jaden Sarkish: Nobody asked me if I wanted this [nearly hisses] Agent in my bedroom. Wyric Crowshire: You are most everywhere, Agent. We meet almost everywhere [smiles to her] Leonard Merrickson: Very well, then. Wyric Crowshire: Now, was I called becuase of this or? Leonard Merrickson: Councilor. If we may speak in private? Jaden Sarkish: No. Leonard Merrickson: [Smiles brightly] Wyric Crowshire: If someone would first explain the situation. Jaden Sarkish: [scans the lines of Agent Vendrask's robes; it is unclear whether he is looking for hidden weapons or checking her out] Rodon Brinson: *he eyes the roof in frustration* Elia Vendrask: [A small knife is quite clearly visible inside of her robe, around the belt area.]

For the record, it is still unclear whether Jaden was looking for hidden weapons or checking Elia out.

You seem to have forgoten to mention me.

Well played! Can't wait to see your new character.

Agent Vendrask was an excellent opponent. I had a very difficult time getting into the Spellguard because of her machinations! I look forward to your next character, Core. I'm sure she'll be equally prominent. We'll always have the Crone...

Well done, Elia rocked! Looking forward to your next concept.

An extremely well-played character, whom I know I could not keep my eyes off of. Her emotes portrayed the sheer hotness of her tainted Spellguard body in ways that made my skin tingle, her dialogue was seductive, alluring, and yet menacing all in one, and her character itself was among the most attractive and appealing of concepts that I have ever had the privilege to interact with. I found myself searching for excuses to log in and find her character just to hear her acerbic, sensual dialogue; I also could not seem to stop my character from gravitating toward her whenever I saw her on my screen. Truly, she was a magnetic, awe-inspiring creation, who truly showed that a real woman can be portrayed so very accurately in NWN. She captured the mystique of the feminine charm as no other character really has-and she kept us all enthralled with what was next to come from her steely-grey eyes and her stern, luscious lips.

I will print out some of these screenshots and blow them up into posters to hang on the walls of my basement fortress, so as to always remember the unparalleled femininity that was Elia Vendrask.

Kudos to you, core. You captured the domineering female mystique of a Spellguard Agent as few others could-and you made it look so very good. I eagerly await your next bastion of hotness-be assured that I will try to find excuses to interact with her a lot.

-SaRF

Elia was well done i remember her before she joined the spellgaurd and after she was a favorite of mine and Kyle liked annoying her too like the time i chased her as a troll through the city. Well done core i am sorry to see her go and i will miss her but if she gets put in to Thomas's shop know that Kyle will always go visit her with a smile and a few dirty thoughts about her that he always kept to himself :P

You won't be alone, Kyle. Be assured-you won't be alone.

-SaRF

And I thought it would be the chasm between Upper and Lower that would claim her.

She looked better without the horns, IMO.

[Edit] <core> Say something nice <Snoteye> I just did. <core> Something nicer. <core> IMO

kk

I'm very glad you killed me.

(No, really. It was actually very cool. Kudos. Looking forward to your next PC. :) )

Awesome character, core! I had a blast playing with her and will miss her presence in the Spellguard a lot. Good luck with the next one!

While I am hesitant to praise certain characters more openly than others, credit should be given where it is due. Elia invigorated the Spellguard and truly made things seem more active and alive in a positive way. Such vibrant characters that actively awaken feelings of hatred, resentment, fear, and angst in many PC's are always great for the gameworld.

Good job.

Allivarn volunteered to be "murdered" :P

Eb0l! Just when I decided to make peace with the Spellguard.

Another puppet joins the collection. I wonder when it's going to be my turn :O

Squall and Rinoa Forever Kudos to you, core. You captured the domineering female mystique of a Spellguard Agent as few others could-and you made it looks so very good.

I always enjoyed interacting with Elia. Great job.

When I heard Elia was dead, I was sorely upset.

I will never again get to see her magical missle, gracefully streaking across public meetings, slaying the innocent and guilty with great, full-damage prejudice.

Now which DM faction gets a spin on the core?

Core shall join House Fireheart.

Or die.

I helped kill her! :D :D :D

But it was a great character, fun to interact with.

My only regret, is that Vilmar never got to break through her icy exterior, to show her that is all right to let people in, to befriend them.

All he wanted was a friend, Elia. I know you felt the same .

Cool character.

I highly suggest you start your own PC faction next. It would be really kickass.

Yeah, just a little echoing of what people have been saying. I had pretty limited interactions with Elia, being just a lackey, but she helped me get Dantian involved in something bigger than what he had going, effectively making him a lot more interesting.

Good luck with your next character.

*sniffs* Im not on the list. *sniffs* After all I did and went through with more than one char. *sniffs*

You will always be on the list in my heart, DrD

Um Im 15. I may be single but. Plus for all you know I might be a spy for dateline.

Elia Vendrask was an outstanding character who brought all the things we secretly love about the Spellguard to surface. An Agent who appeared to be everywhere and just around the corner when something of illegal or important nature happened, often to the dismay of those coming after her. A powerful presence which will be sorely missed, especially by the Seekers who will now be able to wander with a little more 'freedom'.

Amazing work Core, can't wait to see your next character!

Elia was an awesome character core, I only managed to interact with her a few times, but all of those encounters led up to some kick-ass RP.

I'm sure your next character will be just as good, if not better than this one!

Dr Dragon Um Im 15. I may be single but. Plus for all you know I might be a spy for dateline.

*falls off chair laughing*

You're in there, Core.

Well played, really enjoyed RP'ing with Elia. Her and Druss never really seemed to get on, though.

*eagerly awaits next Core character*

Brilliant core!

I never knew if I was going to be next..

Sorry about going afk for 15 minutes or more while you were stalking me out on East Road - it. wasnt. my. fault. - my family turned up and demanded interaction. :?

My favourite Vendrask moment:....

Somniis Szul is happily eating cooked fish and drinking milk with a friend at a table in the Last Stand. Vendrask and Blake are grilling someone about some imagined misdemeanour over by the door. A half-orc comes over to my table and starts grilling me about my fish. I am about to take another bite of fish when a magic missile storm erupts and drops the Half-Orc right in front of my face. Wand appears, Half-Orc disappears. Spellguard Agent Vendrask's reason? : "He was being annoying.."

Well played, core !:)

Noirin Waken<TNVW> "Swims Naked." Elia Vendrask<Core> "Nearly drowns."
