Subject says it all. I'd like to see an option to set anyone in a certain faction hostile.
/c hostile <faction>
If it includes PCs, then there may be metagaming issues of people using it and then getting OOC knowledge of if someone's an undercover Watchy or something. Possibly.
Perhaps if it was tied to anyone wearing the uniform?
[Edit] Really good idea, but in retrospect, there are indeed 'secret' factions out there it could be used to exploit.
I don't like this idea.
It's a good idea, but there are problems determining implementation and exploitation.
Even secret members of a faction are wanded, because wanding is mostly an OOC means of letting us track who's who.
Sometimes we give out custom faction gear that wouldn't be detected by some kind of "GetNearestFactionMember(...)" call. It could also pick up people that have stolen faction gear.
And I'm sure there are other problems I haven't thought through yet.
