Hide with stoneskinn.

I was thinking, the stoneskinn spell makes you into, yeah, a stone. Atleast at the outside. The underdark is almost just stone and such, maybe a hide bonus? I woul think that the stone lizards look like stones, and thats why theire so good at hideing.

While I agree this would act as a form of camouflage, there are so many hide bonuses that a rogue could perform the first two acts of Macbeth directly behind an umberhulk before being noticed.

So while I think this should apply, I'm not sure if the DM's will go for it.

I dont know how to edit, so I spam my own thread. The stoneskin is a quite short duratation, it wont be long for that bonus to last.

It is true stoneskin encases you in stone, and there is lots of stone in the underdark. Characters with Hide/MS know and understand the terrain, how to move in it, and how to do that quietly and with the right timing so as not to get noticed.

Those without hide/ms may attempt to hide and ms, but usually end up like Crunk from "Emporer's New Groove" when he attempts to "hide" and "blend in" to the mural behind him. Another movie example that comes to mind of portraying how someone with no skill can still have "camoflauge" and fail utterly to use it properly is Chris Farley, in "Beverly Hills Ninja".

any how...no hide/ms bonuses with stoneskin.

What about a hide bonus since their skin blends into the stone, and they become alot harder to see with Infravision, BUT!! a Move Silently deduction because their feet are now stone.

Or, we could just leave it!

Stoneskin is dapper enough. There are plenty of areas on the server that are not caves, so there's no point putting a flat skill bonus/minus to the spell.
