IRC doesn't like me, it seems.
I tried installing XChat, but of course, as soon as I do, it tells me
that my 30 day trial is up, despite having never used it before. And
because the trial is up, I have to pay to use it. Ha!
mIRC hasn't been much more kind. It continually tells me that I'm
not connected, and when I hit the connect button, I get a big
window with "Connect," "IRC," "Sounds," "Mouse," "DCC,"
"Display" and "Other" tabs on the left.
Is there some sort of information I'm supposed to enter into any of
that before it'll let me connect? o.O;; Atm I tried using the cheapo
client on the darkmyst.org site, and I dislike it. But yeah. Technical
help appreciated.

Ah, now it "connects" but continually spams "unable to resolve
server." >.>

Now I feel like an assclown. =)
I found a link to some server or something on the EfU homepage
and when I clicked on it, it automatically opened up in mIRC which
I had running in the background.
Lets hope I can keep it from falling apart. :3

X-Chat 30 day trial? Look up X-Chat 2, it's totally free.
Unless you're a mac user that is.
Link!

You need to unblock IRC from whatever firewalls you have installed!
I forget exactly how to do this.

You could try mIRC. It has always worked perfectly for me. Also, it's free!

Or you could use ChatZilla in your Mozzila FireFox.
I'm learning about it...
But mIRC reminds me my early days in my computer life.
Does it still have the "alligator" fun picture trick?
