Arcane defense, Divination

Most worthless feat in the game. Here some suggestions for it.

The first Arcane defense divination rank makes your invisibility pierced by see invis (True seeing sees you as See invis without AD still), but not your 50% conceal.

Greater arcane defense, Divination. See invis (True seeing gets 50% conceal, but still sees you) doesn't work on you.

DISCUSS!

Definitely not, if that becomes so a mage will take GSF Divination so they can be invisible with no threat (Except from purge which very few clerics use) of being seen.

It is clearly worthless now. Arcane defense necromancy is uber times more useful than this worthless feat.

Not to mention you have to take THREE feats to do this, and most of them are quite worthless until GSF divination.

Unless defense against divination made you immune to scrying or something, I can't see what exactly is there to defend from >.>

Precisely why I wish to make this post, Divination has no damage causing spells, while See invis is immensely useful, There is nothing that Arcane defense Divination does.

There are many feats that are useless save for RP potential. Just consider it one of them.

At least, that's my take on it.

Not only would this be hideously overpowered(And I speak as someone with an Arcane Defense Abjuration feat, myself), but I believe it would be nigh impossible to script. Not only that, there is no 'Greater Arcane Defense' feat. Thus, we'd have to add new feats for every single arcane spell school.

These suggestions are vastly overpowered.

Then what would even them out? Weapon specialization could be considered over powered, Bulls strength the same. Arcane Defense Divination is nigh useless, as it is. Find a use for it!

Why would anyone take it if they know it's useless?

The only thing I could think of that would maybe make it even would be a slightly extended duration on some divination spells (Like +1round/2levels)

Maybe making you immune to scrying if you take Arcane defense Scrying?

Em why "immune" arcane defense grants a +2 saving throw and scrying also has a saving throw I believe. If you have the feats well there you go.

Extended duration on divination spells sound pretty reasonable to me.

They're talking about Arcane -defense-, not Spell Focus.
