Flyer #1 Citizens of Sanctuary! I formally announce my intentions this day of running for office as a Councilor of Sanctuary. Many of you likely do not know me, so I will include my personal outlook on life within these campaign adds and posters.

My name is Ambrose Letarian, and I am hunter of the wilds. I've survived as a slave in shackles and chains by the drow, where I was whipped, battered, and beaten like so many of you have before. Many of us have been dealt the worst and most brutal hands in life, but have prospered and found our way here none the less.

I often hear many question why. Why do we continue to linger, why are we even alive and in this ancient Svirfneblin City?

The answer is that we are the strongest, and best surface people in the Underdark. We have been blessed for our strength, and we live in relative prosperity as a result of it. As a hunter in the wilds, I see the struggle between hunter and prey each day. The games of 'cat and mouse', the overwhelming desire to survive, and the inevitable win of the successful hunter. We are the successful hunters, we are the inevitable survivors, and under my reign as Councilor, we shall flourish even more.

If elected, I will work tirelessly to see that each and every citizen in this city receives formal training and instruction on how to survive in the most dire of situations under my proposed Personal Protection Program (PPP). Be it a drow raiding their home, a filthy crazed thief from Lower, or a berserk Chosen assassin. The abandoned building left by the Society of the Ordered Mind will be used as a training facility of sorts, a place where any citizen that wishes to can learn how to survive even the most wretched of situations free of charge.

Do you remember a time when Councilors were brave men?

When Councilors stood up to face the worst perils this city could imagine face to face, blade to blade?

Councilors are not meant to stand behind the Watch and Spellguard. They are meant to be leaders, in Court chambers and in Combat!

The first to face our foes!

Beholders!

Undead!

Ambrose Letarian will demolish them all, and be the first to do so.

Flyer #3 Letarian on Organizations in Sanctuary:

- Watch

The Watch are a boon to Sanctuary, and do much for us all. They will continue to receive funding, and so long as they continue to protect our gates and citizenry selflessly I see no reason to reduce their funding.

- Spellguard

The Spellguard must be trusted. I intend to investigate their strange magics, and once I determine if they are a boon to this city, I will be willing to support financial increases for them. Their animatrons are bizarre to me, but I respect their strength.

Trust is the largest issue here. When the people know they can trust the Spellguard, and that truly there are no hard feelings left between them, the Watch, and the Council, our city can at last be united and powerful.

They seem to enjoy their place in Lower, and I see no reason to disrupt their work in Lower any further.

- Lower

Leave them alone. They want to be free men, and until they prove they're worthy of it, will not receive the protection of the Watch and Spellguard.
