Dr Vile is seen personally putting up these notices throughout Upper Sanctuary, suited in his usual immaculate white lab coat, greeting passers-by with something of a miserable forced smile. The notices are all emblazoned with the familiar Vile Industries insignia, and penned in large, easy-to-read print.

Vile Industries regrets to announce that it will no longer be serving you all in the retail market. Instead, we will be heading in the direction that was intended for Vile Industries from the beginning - to bring the full potential of science and technology into the homes and lives of every man, woman and child in Sanctuary.

I personally invite anyone with a genuine ambition to innovate, create and inspire to come to our lab and office at Rhunyorn Arms, where I am personally spending every free moment of my time in my efforts to advance Sanctuary to the next era.

To my faithful and hardworking employees - your work with Vile Industries does not come to an end if you do not want it to. Speak with me personally, and together we will discuss how to take our business in this new direction, side-by-side.

To my old retail customers, thank you for supporting us. We hope you will understand our need to make this difficult decision as we leave you in the capable hands of the retailers of House Valerius and Fireheart, both whom have much to offer you.
