Sir Donrick,

The Spellguard had seceded from the city because of the general incompetence of the Council to uphold the wishes of both the founders of the city, and the late Mayor Bhast. It did not appreciate the efforts of anyone outside of its own circle, and took for granted the efforts of all others. Therefore, our Order detached itself. Upon the acknowledgement, of the Council, that it needed our Order, we reunified to better aid the city once more.
