A Letter to the Mausoleum.

The reason of this note is to inquire about deaths known or caused by slaad fever, or especially gruesome deaths such as boiled and blistered bodies which seem to have burst and lead to a persons death.

My search in the deep parts of the underdark has given thought to inquire here, to place a time when such deaths began or started within the walls of Sanctuary.

This is a request and does not need to be heeded, though it goes to the defense against the slaad threat which has reared a head yet again.

Leave note at the stand, the distance from the Mausoleum is ideal.

-Pastoral Shaunter.

Pastoral Shaunter,

As I have only just taken up my position here, I am not familiar as of yet with the deceased of time past. However, I shall set to surveying the deceased for these signs. You are welcome to come to the Mausoleum when you may, if you wish to see for yourself any signs which you are looking for. You know what you are looking for more than I do.

Bountiful Harvests, Sir Leonard Merrickson Caretaker of the Mausoleum
