One *tiny* thing about the Last Stand.

I'd just recommend you add a meeting room onto the first floor. Something lockable, where sinister plans and watch deals can take place. The Library used to function as such, but as it is now not lockable, you have to either buy a room or use lower. So perhaps just a lockable room with a big meeting table and some chairs.

Just a idea.

Seconded.

I like it how it is. And it makes sense for the Inn. The lockable doors just downplay potential interaction, so you should at least have to pay for the benefit of ooc-ly secured doors.

Unless we can make the doors un-lockable via open lock or knock. <_< Then I retract this statement.

I agree with Ebok on this one. Although the lockable doors and nice for security and all..it would not allow for the dramatic throwing open of the door and the shouting of some witty phrase as a co-conspirator or enemy bursts into the room to stop such meeting...

...and you're in Upper. It's not supposed to be all shady. Leave that to the Lower scum. :P

But, in all sincerity, I rather like the door not being locked. As Ebok said, it allows for the potential of roleplay..you open the door and prepare to step in just as the sinister plan is unfolded aloud? Uh oh. You'd best go into hiding.

I also have to disagree. People should be forced to pay for a room if they really want privacy. Also, as it is, anyone can lock a room whether they pay for it or not. Can that be fixed?

I'm with the masses on this one(I think). The whole point of the inn is to make you pay for a room. They don't make money when people stroll in and use the room for random loot distribution, then march out.

You want priv-acy, you pay!

To those who say lower is for the evil guys: Spellguard + all LE characters = evil.

And to those who say "get a room": Unless you want to get slapped alot, a room isnt good for meetings.

Hmm... you all make such good points.

Still, if you have a group of 7, a room isnt really going to work that well. The biggest room has a table that accommodates 4.

The Spellguard doesn't equal Evil.

A few players are LN, never met a LG spellguard agent though.

To direct the discussion back on-topic, I must agree with Ariasa and Ebok. Non-lockable rooms create a lot of potential roleplay. As soon as you're in the room, you can't be overheard. So, there's no possibility of eavesdropping!

A door can be lockpicked. Saying having 1 or 2 rooms that are lockable restrict RP is, all things considered, silly. Why don't we stop not allowing evil people onto quests, too, because that restricts their roleplay?

Oh, wait.

We already did this bit.
