I pen this letter with a great sense of urgency and apology. Firstly, I apologize for my recent lack of input towards our hospital. I have set myself to the workings of too many things and it has detracted greatly from my being able to fully apply myself to any single effort. I shall do my best to narrow my work for the time being.

I have been hearing some rumors of diseases and diseased monsters within the city walls, something far worse than rats by the sound. It seems that it is the prime time for both getting our work underway as well as recruitment. I'll do what I can about the latter and will keep in close contact about what happens.

Also, I never saw a copy of the note sent to the Council. Nikitovich spoke of it, but was unable to produce it-- and it's better that he keep it right now anyways.

Lastly, I have received a small artifact donation from Radiant of the Shrine of Ascension. If you know him and see him, please thank him.

I will transcribe a copy of the proposal I sent to the Council. Good Pepto the Councilor has several times spoken to me that it is being discussed. This must be the human way that a thing must be picked at for long and long before a decision is made.

Have you met any other healers? There does not seem to be much feeling of duty to others in this community. Hopefully once this begins, we will see others respond to this calling and have all the help we need.

I met a holy warrior of your god Ilmater. Ella I believe, a nice girl and seemed well-intentioned if a bit naive. She now has your name and I hope that she finds you as she seemed rather in need of some others of her faith to converse with.
