Report to the Watch

To whom it concerns,

I send you this letter to bring to your attention, if indeed it is not under you attention already, what I believe to be a spreading disease in the city.

Whilst wandering through the tunnels and sewers beneath Lower, I encountered a diseased rat, infected by a Slaad. I took this as a common occurance in such strange and filthy areas, and left. However, I was almost-immediately thereafter bringing a letter from Lower to the Haerlow residence in the Residential section if Upper, where I found out that the inhabitants were also infected by Slaad. Were it not for the efforts of two privates, I forgot to ask their names unfortunately, the disease could have spread throughout the whole district.

I conclude from this that there may indeed be a larger problem at hand, and perhaps should you encounter any Slaad in the poorer districts of Sanctuary, it would appear as though this plague of Slaad infection is widespread. Hopefully this is not the case and the two occurances of infections were coincidence.

In good faith,

Shylah Briggs
