I suggest that after you get killed, by PvP or by an NPC, you should get 10 seconds before you're sent to the fugue. During this time you can spout a dramatic one-liner.
Thanks.
Fake Edit: Also, you should be able to pre-program a death emote for when you die.

THIEF
MY IDEA HAS BEEN STOLED. Should be immune to healing effects somehow during this time too. To prevent abuse.
Damn you LTS.

I've never FDed anyone yet, but when the occasion arises, I thought it would be a courtesy to allow them a few last words.
Do people not already do this in PvP? Does it need to be coded in?

Say your last words while you're dying. If you don't get time to say what you wanted (skipped all the bleeding), you're probably missing your jaw and/or soul by then.
I would not look forward to seeing automated death messages that will probably have nothing to do with the circumstances of the death, the people around you, or anything very meaningful at all.

Couldn't this be achieved by subduing the person first, RPing the killing blow, then switching to FD to end things?
