Bank Account Transfers, Multiple User/Faction Bank Accounts

This is half suggestion, half question. I was thinking about how neat it would be to be able to transfer gold from PC bank accounts to other PC bank accounts, possibly with a marginal fee (2-5% or something). This is not to be mistaken with transfering gold from your own characters to another of your characters, but something provided to assure secrecy in payment. If not scripted (even my feeble knowledge of scripting can think of a few problems with this already), then any ideas on how to do this in-game? Ideally we could have a PC handle things like this, but that's a pretty mundane task. Rereading, I'm not able to really express my idea, but I think you've got the jist of it.

Also, would there be any way to have an account for a faction or entourages, accessible by multiple PCs? This would be extremely helpful for businesses and mercenary groups, but all factions both PC and DM could benefit from this, as it makes the logistics of gold management against player's time and involvement level much easier, as well as removing the risk of losing everything because the faction "treasurer" died out in the Dark. If all that makes sense.

As far as I know, banking is REALLY underused right now (also for price/IG reasons) when it could be a really nice asset to the server.

Yea, really tired right now, so someone else pick this up and chew on it, see if you can't clarify or expand.

Garem Stuff.
This is a good idea. While it is a mundane task, it could easily be managed by a clerk. I'm sure Riddle isn't that busy with last wills. ;)

Implemented, but to my knowledge not currently available to non-DM factions. It would be nice to see that changed, though.

Naturally, if the case where PC can transfer gold to another PC, there needs to be a way to monitor that it isn't being transferred between same players characters. This is my only worry.

If you never see a character IG, I don't see why you'd need a way to send them gold. If you do meet them, give them your gold, yourself!

Every PC faction would need its own personal banker in order to have a faction account, and that means personal PC faction NPCs. Which can happen, but rarely. And usually not in the form of accountants.

I'll suggest that "faction treasurers" leave a will, and leave you folks to figure out the rest... in-game.

I was poking for a more discrete means of transfering gold. If Agent Niceguy wants to hire an assassin without anyone knowing it, he could simply transfer the money to a special account for the assassin where it would be picked up later. Sorry for such a poor explanation in the first post.

What about an accountant that works for the bank? I can see how this might be a pursue IG thing, but this would be a nice and easy way to work around the need for wills and provide quicker and easier access for all members who are eligible to withdraw.

I'm imagining a system where the NPC "accountant" checks your inventory for an item that triggers being able to access the gold- something akin to a banking card that can be duplicated by the accountant on creation. This would also open up options for players to steal this thing and bluff the accountant into letting them access the funds, for example!

Oh, come on. No working around wills, please. That makes Riddle sooo sad. :(
