I drank 2 today after finding an invis person. They showed up visible for a few seconds, and then they disappeared again. No trace.

Anyone else have this problem?

See invis worked fine for me these past few days anyway.

They probably stealthed or something. I don't think there are any problems with the spell.

No stealth, was a wizard.

Besides, I could see them fine at a distance, then .. Poof! Gone. Happened twice. The first time I drank another potion and it fixed it, the second time... well they were hasted and ran away.

In fact, it was when they cast haste that they disappeared again.

Are you sure this isnt related to your engine and the draw-distance of NwN?

Has See invis been changed with a patch or something? I remember it making the invisible person look as though no spell was cast on them. Now, they look all ... fuzzy like they do if you just get close enough to hear them. This doesn't seem right, and I think it may be part of the issue here. It's as if See invis just made me -hear- them from a distance, then they moved.

Wizards can have plenty of stealth.

I think this is only a problem you have. Maybe you have an override that's messing you up?

Invis/See Invis has not changed in all my time of NWN playing, AFAIK.

I dunno, maybe it was stupid lag. It just frustrates the heck out of me to be prepared specifically to deal with something (like invisibility) and then having it all fail on me when I really need it.

The confusion probably results from the fact that in EfU invisible people have a ghostly white halo (to reflect the fact that they are invisible). This is non-standard.

What I think happend to oona was simple enough. Wizard was in stealth mode while watching her. She drank potion of see invis, that causes the stealthed person to become visible for a split second then disapears (regardless of spot/listen this happens)

I know certain wizards have 20-27/hide/move silently and carry around potions to buff such stats so I'd well believe this happening.
